Nando’s streamlines Uber Eats with Redcat

Nando’s streamlines Uber Eats with Redcat

Redcat today announced the next step in its strategy of providing full integration with online food delivery providers. Redcat has now added Uber Eats integration to its portfolio of software applications for hospitality businesses.

Uber Eats has more than 20,000 restaurant partners on its platform in Australia and New Zealand and operates in 24 cities, covering two-thirds of the Australian population. The phenomenon of the Uber Eats app has generated enormous revenue opportunity for cafes, restaurants and QSRs. However, without integration the process of capturing orders can be time consuming.

Redcat CEO Jeff Lamb said: “Our clients love having the additional orders that come from Uber Eats, but those extra orders came at the expense of efficiency. The manual process of physically entering orders into the restaurant’s point of sale system often result in costs to the business through staff time and reconciliation issues.”

With the Redcat integration module, Uber Eats orders are received directly into the POS with no double handling, and are processed automatically as soon as they are received.

Flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken restaurant brand, Nando’s, has been an early adopter of Redcat’s integrated Uber Eats option in over 150 restaurants across Australia. “We’re delighted by what we have helped Nando’s to achieve”, says Jeff. “Integration is the key in hospitality systems - the more parts of the business you can connect, the more business benefits you can deliver. It’s the principle behind Redcat’s constant drive towards seamless integration throughout the supply chain. Today’s announcement with Nando’s is a great example of the very real difference integration makes to a business. We’ve launched Deliveroo and Uber Eats and will continue to work on new integrations that deliver value to our hospitality clients.”
