9 great reasons to choose Redcat
When you’re selecting a new hospitality IT platform, it can be hard to unravel all the information and cut through the jargon to make a decision....
The Australian Open offers not just great tennis, but a range of food and beverage outlets to keep fans refreshed. From formal dining to quick service, the Australian Open has more than 25 outlets in Melbourne Park and across its live sites at Birrarung Marr, Richmond Station and Federation Square.
Managing multiple venues has been a challenge for hosts Tennis Australia in the past, but no longer. This year, for the first time, they are using the Redcat Hospitality IT Platform to consolidate data from multiple outlets into a single, centralised reporting system.
Redcat is a Melbourne-based company, whose specialist Hospitality IT Platform is used by many large-scale, multi-site franchise outlets including Boost Juice, Nando’s, Grill’d, Schnitz and Chatime.
Redcat will incorporate the Australian Open's Founders Club, the world famous Rockpool restaurant and multiple cashless food and beverage pop-up venues onto a centralised Headquarters (HQ) setup.
Redcat CEO Jeff Lamb says, ‘With thousands of transactions daily, it’s critical for the Australian Open to have the real-time control that our platform offers. Redcat’s strength is in managing multiple sites from a centralised platform, including reporting live sales data and changing menu items or pricing on the fly.’
The platform gives Tennis Australia’s operational managers live dashboards, with a snapshot of overall sales performance, and the ability to ‘drill down’ into specific outlets.
Jeff adds, ‘The other big plus of the Redcat platform is that it is designed to keep outlets running at all times. It can operate online or offline, meaning that even if there was an internet outage, sales continue unaffected. We provide thorough training and 24-hr support to ensure that Tennis Australia gets the very best from our platform.’
The Australian Open, hosted by Tennis Australia at Melbourne Park, is on January 20 - February 2, 2020.
