About Digital Stamp Cards
The Look
Visually, Digital Stamp Cards can display either a row of dots (where each dot is coloured as the stamps are earned) or icons (where custom images can be displayed when a stamp is earned, and for rewards).
The Accrual Method
You can choose how your customers will earn stamps on their Digital Stamp Cards:
- A stamp can be applied for each purchase that meets a minimum spend requirement - eg. 'earn a stamp for every transaction over $7', or
- A stamp(s) will be applied whenever a particular item(s) is included in a sale.
The Reward(s)
You can choose how many rewards a customer can earn on the Digital Stamp Card and the position of the reward on the card.
Rewards are delivered in the form of a coupon which is added when the stamp is applied on the reward spot.
When a reward is achieved the customer will also be advised by email.
Configuration Options for Digital Stamp Cards
To assist you in the implementation process for Digital Stamp Cards, you should consider and decide:
- How many stamps will be on the card?
- Do you want dots or icons to represent each stamp?
- if icons, you will need to provide the graphic assets for each different icon required. - What stamp type do you want?
- per transaction (a stamp is earned when a transaction meets the minimum spend criteria).
- per item (a stamp is earned for each item purchased that meets the configured criteria).
- what is the maximum number of stamps that can be earned in one transaction?
- what PLU(s), categories or classes should be included in the criteria? - When does the customer earn a reward?
- how many rewards per card, and at which stamp positions? - What coupon(s) should be used/created and mapped to the rewards on the stamp card? It is recommended that the coupons should be an independent campaign so that they can be randomly assigned as required.
- The minimum spend required to earn stamps on a sale?
- What text you would like included on the stamp card?
- for example, 'You are {} stamps away from your next reward!' - Do you want customers to be able to add the stamp card to their apple / google wallet?
- if yes, you will need to provide the graphic assets as detailed below.
