It is possible to have Polygon Central reports scheduled to be compiled and emailed at regular intervals.
Any report that you can run in Polygon Central can be configured as a scheduled report. These can be from the library of public reports, or from a private report collection. You can specify which fields (valid to the report) are to be included.
The report can be:
- included in the body of the email
- included as a PDF attachment to the email
Scheduled reports are compiled according to the list of users (Polygon Central Admin Users) that are assigned to the report. The report issued to each user will only contain the data for POS Locations relevant to the user, and will be sent to the email address of that user.
If a report returns no data, the email for that report will not be sent.
The schedule for each report can be different. For example, you may want a report on Wastage or Gross Sales to run each day, while a Notional COGS report may only be required once a month.
Some customisation is possible for:
- the subject of the email
- the file name of the report attached to the email
Here are some examples:
- Sales by Store (Sales Information Report)
include Location Name, Gross Sales, Transaction Count, Average Transaction Value
run at 08:00 daily on sales for yesterday. - Sales by Hour (Sales Information Report)
include Locations Name, Transaction Hour, Transaction Amount
run at 08:00 on sales for yesterday - Notional COGS
report from Start of Last Month to End of Last Month
run at 09:00 on 1st day of each month - Store Control Report
include all Corporate Stores
report from Start of Last Week to End of Last Week
run at 09:00 on Monday each week
How do I setup Scheduled Reports?

- A list of users for which each report needs to be compiled
- The required interval for each report
