The Programmable Keys (Product Keypads)

The programmable keys are the section of this screen which allows staff members to enter the details for a sale – the items the customer has ordered, including any instructions or modifications (for the kitchen) and deviations in pricing structure (such as discounts etc). These keys can also be programmed to allow the user to access other keypads, to assign sale types and record relevant customer detail and provide a range of fast finaliser options.  As items are entered they will be displayed in the Sale Items Window which is described below.

Setting the Home Keypad

Each POS terminal can be programmed to display a Home keypad when the software is opened.

To do this:

• Choose the Admin button on the toolbar.
• Enter your password.
• Select Hardware
• Choose the Home Keypad from the list of available keypads.

This is the keypad that the POS will automatically display each time the software is opened.
