Who are Windcave?
Windcave is a global payment provider with headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand, specialising in secure, reliable, and user-friendly payment processing services for businesses of all sizes.
Windcave offers a wide range of payment solutions, including card machines and payment gateways. Windcave can accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as a variety of alternative payment methods.
Redcat & Windcave Integration
Redcat customers can now use the integration into the Windcave platform for both Polygon POS and Kiosk systems. This integration allows for a consistent payment experience across multiple touchpoints and is available in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Prerequisites
- POS
- Kiosk
- Polygon POS Management: 2401.11.1 or later
- Polygon POS Terminal: 2404.03.1 or later
- Redcat EFTPOS Manager [PE]: 2401.12.1 or later
- Polygon POS Kiosk: please confirm with Redcat
Certification
Redcat applied for and was granted certification for the POS implementation of the payment integration from Payment Express in 2017.
RedCat has passed the certification for above listed test scenarios with DPS integrated HIT ipp350.
Redcat applied for and was granted certification for the semi-attended implementation of the payment integration from Windcave in 2024.
Redcat POS is certified to use with Windcave CHU200T HIT solution for purchase transaction and refund via online API in semi-attended environments.
Following exceptions are observed:
- This POS does not support signature verification process in semi-attended environment.
- This POS does not handle exception scenarios (test case 26, 27, 28), Windcave will not be liable for any reconciliation issues caused by this limitation.
