Prerequisites
To access the Z-Read / EOD Report the following is required.
- Polygon Central deployed after [TBA when deployment is available].
Z-Read / EOD Report
How to Access
The Z-Read | EOD Report can be found under the Reports menu in Polygon Central.
- Reports | Z-Read / EOD Report
Report Criteria
To run the report, complete the report criteria:
- Location
This is a single-select list and you may choose only one location - Date
Select an option from the Date field, you can use the Custom Date option to select a specific date from the calendar.
If there are multiple resets for the selected store on the selected date the report will provide consolidated figures for all the resets unless the File ID for a specific reset is entered in the field below. - Sales File ID (optional)
Resets available for the selected store and date will be displayed in a drop-down list. If you choose a reset File ID only the data for that reset will be reported.
Considerations
The following must be considered when utilising the Z-Read | EOD Report:
- The actual figures entered during the reset process at the POS are not available in Polygon Central. Therefore the Actual and Variance amounts for each media type cannot be included.
- If the Polygon POS Management database is configured to 'post actual' figures when processing resets, any value posted to the POS Over/Under revenue account as a result of media variance will not be included on the Z-Read / EOD Report.
- The PDF version of the Z-Read report available from within the Polygon POS Management application is a snapshot of the reset data as it is received into the database and will never change. The Z-Read | EOD Report in Polygon Central reads the data from the database and is therefore subject to any amendments or deletions recorded in the database after the reset is processed.
